Villas at Poipu Kai – Kauai

Kauai is often said to be the most beautiful of all the Hawaiian islands. It’s nicknamed “The Garden Isle” thanks to the tropical rainforest that covers much of its surface. You can find everything there, from beautiful beaches to the dramatic Na Pali Coast and Waimea Canyon. If you are looking to book a hotel in Kauai, I highly recommend the Villas at Poipu Kai.

A boutique resort, situated in the heart of Poipu, these vacation rentals include 3-4 bedroom poolside villas and 2-5 bedroom garden villas. All are very luxurious throughout and include gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, custom cabinets, and subzero refrigerators. Completely furnished with modern décor and touches of island flavor, these villas are absolutely stunning.

The property also features a tropical pool, hot tub with waterfall, and its own exercise facility. There’s also a beach gear room filled with items to borrow for the day. Another great feature of this resort is its location. You are just minutes away from beautiful tennis courts, world class golf, and the very popular Poipu beach. After a fun day of activities, be sure to stop by Keoki’s Paradise for their famous fish tacos.

If you are visiting Kauai with a group of people, a great option would be to rent the Custom Penthouse which is ideal for large families or several couples. With 2,000 square feet of living space, the Penthouse offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Two of the bedrooms are Master suites with king beds and large bathrooms with walk in dual head showers and double sinks.

My two favorite features of this Penthouse are the private elevator which grants access directly into your villa and the ocean facing balcony with a raised, sitting area for watching the colorful Hawaiian sunsets. On the other side of the villa is a second, much larger balcony that faces the tropical pool.

Whether choosing the Penthouse or one of the smaller villas, this resort has everything you need and more to make your vacation in Kauai a pleasant and memorable experience. I was very impressed with this property and can’t wait to return soon!
