Blue Tang Inn – Ambergris Caye

People who are looking to visit the tropical country of Belize usually hop over to the islands of Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye. These are the top spots for those looking for relaxation, beautiful weather, and of course world class diving.

Ambergris Caye is the larger of the two and therefore has much more to see and do. San Pedro is the island’s center for sailing and reef exploration and situated in the heart of town lies the beautiful Blue Tang Inn.

Sitting in the perfect location, the Blue Tang Inn is walking distance from a number of excellent restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Many of these can be reached on foot, therefore, renting a golf cart (which the hotel will be happy to book for you) is not necessary.  However, I do recommend renting a cart for at least one day, just to explore the outskirts of town and to enjoy a few hours at “Secret Beach.”

The Blue Tang Inn sits right near the water, so you don’t have to venture far to get your feet wet. The rooms are super clean, spacious, and are even equipped with a full kitchen. I was very impressed with this hotel for a number of reasons. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly. From the workers in the front office to the hotel housekeepers, everyone was wonderful and eager to make sure that my stay was a pleasant one.

Continental breakfast is included every morning and there is a pool to enjoy the hot sun and afternoon breeze. Be sure to spend some time on the rooftop terrace for excellent views of the surrounding area.

I highly recommend staying at the Blue Tang Inn when booking a trip to Ambergris Caye. It has all of the amenities to make your stay relaxing, memorable, and of course UNBELIZEABLE!

Many thanks to the Blue Tang Inn for hosting me in Belize. All opinions, as always, are my own.

We are lucky enough to be in house right now and enjoying everything that you took pictures of. We have stayed at the Blue Tang our last 10 visits and would go no other place! This is our 22nd trip to the island.
